Because the Mormon Church at its core is a works-driven, non-biblical, polytheistic religion and not at all the Bible-based, faith in Jesus alone and salvation by grace alone religion of the Bible, it would follow logically that the Mormon view of the Afterlife is also dependent upon works. This lesson discusses the differences.
One of the most tragic things about the Mormon view of the afterlife (outside of the reality that it is false) is that a Mormon never knows in this life exactly where they will end up. The requirements for the highest Mormon heaven are incredibly difficult to fulfill and there is no assurance that the standards are ever met.
What a contrast there is for the Christian and what a wonderful message we have to share with Mormon friends and neighbors:
1 John 5:11-12 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Now and forever, we are guaranteed life with God, not because of anything we have done, but all because of what Jesus has done.
Following are the notes for the class and then after them, another graphic that explains the pre-mortal and after-life views of Mormons, plus a very helpful article that explains the Mormon views of “eternal families.”

CLICK HERE to go to an EXCELLENT article about the Mormon view of families existing together forever. It shows the illogical thinking behind it, in addition to the falseness of the doctrine. In addition, it ends by showing what a forever family really means–being part of the family of God in Christ Jesus.
Below is a good illustration of the view of the Mormon idea of eternal progression and how Mormons can get their own planet, have spiritual children, who will get their planet, just like the god of this world did. This is all false and is in total disagreement with every teaching in the Bible. Our God is One, the only God and no human will ever become exalted to the position of a god.
